1. THERE'S A NEW STORE IN TOWN! A fabulous bookstore called LOST BOOKSTORE. It's a must see! The historic Dorsey Building has been transformed! You enter through a tunnel of plants into a winding path of used books. Thousands of them! You'll find this gem near the Black Cow.

2. THERE'S A NEW SALON IN TOWN! This may be the most exquisite salon you have ever seen. It has been months, maybe years, in the making! It's called THE STRAND SALON. The old Needle In A Haystack space has been totally transformed into something that rivals Beverly Hills. Another must see.

3. THERE'S A NEW RESTAURANT COMING! The old Rocky Cola space has been totally renovated and brought back to its original glory to house GUS & ANDY'S MONTROSE GRILL. They will be opening soon and we all can't wait!

4. THE MONTROSE CAR SHOW IS COMING BACK!!! Sunday September 5 from 9-2 with hundreds of showpiece cars, music, cackle fest, and Harvest Market. A great way to spend Labor Day weekend! Admission is FREE!

5. THE MONTROSE OKTOBERFEST IS COMING BACK!!! Sponsored by the Montrose Verdugo City Chamber Of Commerce the event will be hosted in the Montrose Shopping Park Saturday, October 2. Beer! Brats! German fun!

6. THE MONTROSE ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL IS COMING BACK!!! Hundreds of crafters and artists! Live entertainment you won't want to miss! Saturday and Sunday October 23 and 24th in the heart of Fall.
