I am not sure I know anyone who completely enjoyed his or her high school experience, but Montrose local Sareen Hacopians confesses that was the mother of all good times. And dressed to impress with a creative edge to boot, this happy-go-lucky makes Debbie Downer look like a real disaster.

Yup. Right down the street here.

What do you do?

I work in medical transcription. I transcribe reports for insurance in Glendale, but I own my own company creating iPhone covers. It’s called Plush Paladin.

That’s really funny. Is it going well? 

Yeah, I think so. I get orders through Facebook, as well.

Did you go to school?

Yes. I went to CSUN. I have a Bachelors in Psych.

Did you go to high school here?

Yes... I went to .

How did you like it?

I loved it! I love CV!

Wow! You must have been popular then.

Not at all! Nobody knew I existed, but I loved the school.

That’s great. You may be the most positive person I have ever met! Do you think it is the same now as it was back then?

From what I have heard, I don’t think so.

What was it about the school that was so good?

I loved the freedom of it. I could be myself. I used to go to and I felt a lot of pressure there. It was bad. I prefer public schools. 

It is interesting because I don’t know many people that loved their high school experience. I know I didn’t. Are you single? 

Yes. And I love being single!

Wow. You are like the eternal optimist! What is your sign? 

I’m a Capricorn. 

They say Capricorns are really private and secretive, but I am not sensing that from you. Have you recently been in a relationship?

The last one I was in ended two years ago.

Was it good?

It was okay (laughs).

Why did it end?

We were very different.

Do you ever want to get married?

Someday. Hopefully.

Yes, maybe one. 

What are the three top qualities you want in a man? 

Oh, Lord. I have never thought about it.

I have not met any yet. And it’s really disappointing!

What are men like in Montrose?

I don’t know because they are mostly married with families, I think.

Who is your celebrity crush?

That's a hard one. But I love Robert Downey, Jr.

What do you and your friends do for fun on the weekends?

We usually leave the area to go out. We go to Pasadena, Hollywood, downtown or the Griffin in Los Feliz.
