Celebrate the first weekend of Summer with a visit to Rosemont Preserve! We are having an "Open Gate" event, giving the public a chance to wander the trail at their own pace, enjoying the tranquil setting, the wildlife and the natural beauty. Photographers and birders, bring your cameras!
The gate will be open from 3:00pm until 5:00pm, and Friends of the Rosemont Preserve members will be available to answer questions and show you this community resource which we have all worked to hard to protect and develop.
The Preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. As street parking is limited, please park at Two Strike Park. Please wear sturdy shoes if you plan on walking the trail.
This event is open to the public, suitable for all ages, and completely free. Rain cancels event. Sorry, no pets please.
