Saturday, March 21 - Rosemont Preserve Spring Equinox Celebration
Bring the whole family out for our second annual celebration!
The Rosemont Preserve is opening its gates to the community on Saturday, March 21, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, with a special focus on activities for families. Bring your kids for hands on games, art projects and learning related to plants, animals, and local Native American heritage at the Preserve. We will also offer a scavenger hunt at 3:30pm and a docent-led walk 4:15pm for those wishing to further explore the Preserve ecosystem.
Join us in celebrating the rebirth and renewal of nature. The Preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. As street parking is limited, please park at Two Strike Park. Please wear sturdy shoes if you plan on walking the trail.
This event is free to the public and suitable for all ages, no reservations required. Rain cancels event. Sorry, no pets please. For further information please contact the Friends of the Rosemont Preserve at RosemontFriends@gmail.com
