"Season of the Earth" Rosemont Preserve Tour and Reception at the La Crescenta Library

In the next installment of our "Season of the Earth" program, Frank Colcord will lead a leisurely, educational walk through the Preserve, followed by a reception at the La Crescenta Library.  Frank is a La Crescenta resident and Co-Chair of the Friends of Rosemont Preserve.  He will introduce participants to the origins, current programs and future plans of the Preserve, as well as provide an overview of the flora and fauna that grace the site.

The walk will begin at 10:00am at the Preserve, followed by a reception at the La Crescenta Library.  Please wear sturdy shoes and long pants.

The Preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence.  As street parking is limited, please park at Two Strike Park.  The Library is located at 2809 Foothill Bl. in La Crescenta.

This event is free to the public, all ages welcome, no reservations required.
