Signed Tony Hawk Bike Stolen from Unlocked Car
A woman reported her son's signed Tony Hawk bicycle stolen from her unlocked car in the Whiting Woods area early Monday.
A mom is trying to find her 10-year-old son's signed Tony Hawk bicycle after someone ransacked her unlocked car in North Glendale.
Glendale police were notified about 6:30 a.m. Monday of the vehicle theft near Lockerbie Lane and Whitting Woods Road, according to Glendale police Sgt. Peter Pressnall.
It was unknown if any other residents had vehicles broken into, Pressnall said. The car was unlocked at the time of theft and loose change was also noted stolen, he said.

Described as a black Tony Hawk BMX bike, the bike is autographed by Tony Hawk in silver paint pen, Whiting Woods resident Julie Brown told Patch.
Brown is offering a $100 reward-no questions asked-for the safe return of the bicycle, she said. She urges anyone with information to email Jaybrown888@gmail.com.

"I won’t be making that mistake again," Brown said. "I can’t really determine if they stole anything from the car. The car was ransacked and they had dumped the contents of my glove compartment on my passenger seat. I basically think they couldn’t find anything to steal."
