I wish I could tell you that all single men were as cool as Jesus because I think there would be more peace in relationships, less fighting and decidedly more dedicated marriages. His views on relationships, waiting for the right one and focusing on his career are all signs that this guy will be solid marriage material ... one day. And after our impromptu meeting in La Crescenta, I knew that his outlook on life and honest approach toward women would help us realize that the good things in life are actually worth waiting for.

Yes, I’m single. Single and happy.

Why do you say that?

Since I am trying to be successful, I need all the time I can get to invest in my career. I love relationships, but it’s time consuming and I want to apply myself 24/7 to all I do.

So, when you are done working would you want to meet somebody?

Yes, exactly. Until I am established, I don’t want to get into a serious relationship.

That’s smart. We should all take hints from you. Where are you headed right now?

I’m going to a party for my friend. 

Are you hoping to meet any gals?

Not really hoping. But it would be nice. And I would love a relationship when the right time comes.

So, you want to meet girls, you just don’t want to commit.

At the moment yes, and I’m completely honest and up front about it.

I think that’s great. More men should just be up front. Except it can scare some women away.

I mean there’s a bunch of girls doing the same thing I am, right?

You think there are a lot of girls looking for a without the commitment?

Some girls are. Definitely. I know so. I don’t think so.

What percentage of casual daters do think are women?

I would say 80 percent of girls are just looking to have fun to start with, right? After that, you never know.

I think it is just that 70 percent of women want men to think they are only looking to date casually so that they don’t appear too needy right out of the gate.

I also think a lot of women are and I feel like a lot of people are trying to work and get their career started.

That's true. What age range of women do you generally date?

I don’t discriminate.

Good to know. Where is the best place to meet singles? You know, those girls who are just looking for a casual date?

I go to for some rest and fun.

What are the top three qualities you look for in a woman? Obviously, someone who doesn’t want a relationship right now, but down the line what do you see?

I would say good manners. She has to know how to eat properly and have , integrity and so on.

Is that what having manners means? Wow. I guess I am just lucky I found someone to me.

And she needs to be ambitious. I like an . I need someone to match up with me and compete with me. I would enjoy the competition.

So, you definitely don’t want an “opposites attract” type scenario.

Probably. If you can work in the same industry, that would be great. So, we can work and learn together.
