Tickets For 'Taste of Montrose' Now on Sale

Restaurateurs from the shopping district are preparing to delight your tastebuds at the 7th-annual Taste of Montrose scheduled for Sunday, May 5.

Shops will offer you the chance to "taste" their best bites and enjoy the sights along the Montrose Shopping Park and from the surrounding area.

The event is $20. Wristbands are on sale now and can be purchased at the Montrose Verdugo chamber office. Wristbands can also be purchased on the day of the event.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Proceeds from the Taste of Montrose will benefit the Prom Plus organization, which hosts a post-prom party at the Crescenta-Canada YMCA as an alternative to un-supervised, un-chaperoned outings. The event was founded after the 1991 murder of a Crescenta Valley HS senior at an unsupervised post-prom hotel party.

Activities include a mock casino, mechanical bull, rock climbing wall and more.
