The Thomas Paine Society Invites You to a Special Performance of Ian Ruskin's Brilliant One Man Play:

To Begin the World Over Again: The Life of Thomas Paine

Sunday, August 25th
3pm-6pm

Including a Wine and Cheese Reception in the Grand Salon 3:00-3:45
Actor Ian Ruskin captures the living essence of our nation's brilliant, fiery and most radical Founding Father in this fantastic one-man show.  This play, written with a COLA Fellowship, takes audiences on a journey through an extraordinary period of history, beginning with Paine's struggles in England, then to his astonishing impact on the American and French Revolutions, his defining of the Age of Enlightenment with "Age of Reason" and, finally, to his fall from grace and favor upon returning to America.
Ruskin has worked extensively in theater, television and film in England and Los Angeles.  His life-long interest in social justice led him to found The Harry Bridges Project in 2000 and to produce, write, and perform the acclaimed one-man play From Wharf Rats to Lords of the Docks.
