Ukulele Cabaret - Friday January 23rd

McGroarty Arts Center presents their 4th Friday Concert Series for January. Kick back and start your weekend off right at the coolest house in town. Complimentary snacks and a cash beer and wine bar.

Ukulele Cabaret will explore the versatility of this charming instrument and challenge your preconceptions. From Hawaiian to Bluegrass, from Oldies to Contemporary, get ready to see the humble ukulele in a whole new light. The Honolulu Avenue Strummers are a Montrose based ukulele ensemble, and have appeared in the Montrose Christmas Parade as well as in La Canada’s Fiesta Days.  They will be joined by the versatile duo Just Pick Something, and fabulous soloist Brett Santucci.

$7 cover charge and bar proceeds benefit the Center. Doors open at 7pm, show begins at 7:30pm.
