Urinetown: The Musical Staged at GCC
Urinetown: The Musical opens March 31 in the GCC Auditorium

“Urinetown: The Musical” will be staged by the Glendale Community College Theatre Arts and Music Departments in the Auditorium Mainstage Theatre beginning March 31.
With music by Mark Hollman, book by Greg Kotis, lyrics by Hollman and Kotis, the musical will be staged over two weekends with eight performances. Show times are 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The director is GCC theatre arts professor Jeanette D. Farr. “Urinetown: The Musical” is a satirical comedy that opened in 2001 and received multiple Tony Award nominations. While satirizing bureaucracy the show also parodies Broadway musicals. For more information on the performances and the GCC Theatre Arts Department go to www.glendale.edu/theatre.
