Water Works II exhibition comes to GCC Gallery
Water Works II exhibitions opens in GCC Art Gallery and runs Sept. 8 through Oct. 1.
“Water Works II,” a juried group exhibition focusing on issues related to water, will be held in the Glendale Community College Art Gallery Sept. 8 through October 1.
A panel discussion will be held in the gallery on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by a reception for the artists from 3 to 5 p.m.
“Water Works II” is presented by the Porch Gallery Ojai and The Venice Institute of Contemporary Art (ViCA) and was first exhibited at Porch Gallery Ojai and Ojai Art Center. It is an international juried exhibition including works from as far away as China, focusing on water issues including its beauty, scarcity, importance, politics and environmental impact.

The GCC gallery is located in the Library Building. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 12 to 5 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
