The reason I subscribe to Patch is for local news, but this year the local news has disappeared. The headlines are all junk tabloid style weird news from around the world, and copies of blogs from elsewhere.. The only local content appears to be copies of news releases. There does not seem to be any local reporter or writer. What happened? There's no point in a local "patch" that does not have local news. I may unsubscribe.
