Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Andrea became a certified Red Cross Lifeguard last summer at the age of 15, which makes her one of the youngest lifeguards in the country.
Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Andrea has the brains and awareness to go with her certification; recently, Andrea's grandmother started to show early signs of a stroke while visiting Andrea. She instantly recognized what was happening because of her CPR and first aid training, and helped save her grandmother's life by letting the 911 operators know what was happening. Because of this great act, her grandmother is doing well with no side effects from the stroke.
