Update: Accident Victim Remains in Critical Condition

A man remains in critical condition after being hit by a car in Moorpark Wednesday, according to reports. 

The man, Stephen Anderson of Thousand Oaks, was crossing Spring Road near his business, Moorpark RV & Storage, when a car turning left onto south-bound Spring Road from the Moorpark Plaza (Popeye's and Wood Ranch shopping center) hit him, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

Anderson, 70, of Thousand Oaks was transported to Los Robles Medical Center, a Sheriff's report said.

The driver, Lisa Fuentes, 50, of Moorpark, was driving a blue Toyota Corolla station wagon and was not injured, according to the report.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
