Calling ALL Disabled and Elderly!URGENT!!

We live in America right? So what the heck is going on here? Our SocialSecurityAdministration( SSA) has a vital message for you. We don't care about you even though most of you have paid into this system for many long years. Now when you need..yes need it to help you out...they've taken a deaf ear. What happens now? Take Mary as an example; She's worked 2jobs her whole life and paid into the SSA. Now she's injured from her job...she was a disabled person since childhood but always worked, went to school and had a family. Now she gets a breadcrumb from workers comp insur and its so small that she needs her SSA to help out until she returns to work. They made errors on her case so now she's barely getting enough money to pay electric. She gets a 3Day notice from her apt. manager. Her bills have piled up. All her savings are gone. She is very I'll but refuses to stop working. She just needs SSA to help her out so she can go back to work and be self sufficient. SSA hasn't corrected their obvious mistake. In 2 days Mary will join the homeless. Was this her doing? She shouldn't have been working but SSA barely pays 1/2 of the CA rent. At least she was getting by. And now she's falling off the cliff and no net beneath her. Joe was an account executive who was laid off. Our retched economy has many Joes. He is 65 with no job prospects. He lost his house, his car and his faith...in this society. His whole life he paid into the system made excellent money but now what? SSA took very long to start his monies coming in and retirement age has been moved up. He only gets less than 1500 a month. Joe has no real hope even though he is sure he will be hired soon. Joe also lost his family over this. Joe can't sleep or eat and now he's moved to another state where the cost of living is way less. He never sees his kids or grandkids and he's ill from all the worry. Joe has given up. Anyone of us could lose a job and our resources. Savings don't last long. We have a government that spends more money on a toilet seat than an average modest salary. Do we understand that we can't depend on this system..the SSA to be there for us? That's what Roosevelt wanted it to be for. Instead we have people abusing our systems, like CalWorks while really deserving people are turned away. Soldiers come home broken and damaged and they are turned away. Mothers who try and work but would have more money sitting home give up. Disabled children, especially from single parents don't have shoes or clothes because moms are restricted on their incomes or benefits disappear. There's no affordable housing for anyone especially those working poor who are tired and work all day and are still way beneath the poverty line. So..what do we do? Shake our head and forget? Not our life not our problem. But it IS our problem..all of ours. SSA must help temporarily for those who are trying like Mary. It must catch the Joes when they fall. No child in America..in CA..in Moorpark should face homelessness because they were born challenged to a mom or dad who doesn't have a lot. No elderly person should worry all night about next month or next week and will they be out in the street. We need to re-vamp a lot of our governments programs..yes..but we need to start with our most fragile..the elderly and the disabled. If SSA errors..no citizen should be tossed out like garbage by any landlord or bank. If a disabled wants to work..applaud them and give support. Don't penalize the children because they have a disabled parent or because they are. Compassion begins with common sense. People need to work to feel good about themselves and they need a break when they're sick or injured or mentally exhausted. Walk in someone elses moccasins. Don't judge and try to imagine how hard it must be to be disabled, challenged, old, sickly or have psychiatric issues. We are a country who helps countries in distress. We need to help the disabled and elderly and give a man a fishing pole not a fish. Help when its needed is not charity its human and that is what we are..humans. I'm not so sure about SSA?
