Free Mindful Living Class, May 3 at Simi YMCA

The principles learned in the class can be put into practice immediately.

A mindful living class designed to decrease negative thinking and show participants how to lead a life that welcomes change, increases overall happiness and identifies personal strength will be held at the Simi Valley Family YMCA Thursday, May 3 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The class is free to the community.

Mindful living is the ability to use knowledge, personal understanding and simple meditative techniques to foster peace, happiness and awareness--in the present moment without judgement. Leading the session is Lindsay Leimbach who has over 26 years of experience teaching classes before schools, groups and businesses on mindful living, active awareness and integrity.

"The principles learned in the class can be put into practice immediately," says Mitch McManus, the Simi Y's membership and marketing director.
