Meet An "Amazing" Hospital Super Volunteer
Jean Bailey, 98, has been volunteering at Methodist Women's Hospital in Nebraska since she was 62.

Jean Bailey, 98, at first glance, would seem more like someone who’d be needing help at Methodist Women’s Hospital rather than offering it. Yet, there she is, a spry lady, escorting women to scans, holding their hands when needed, explaining the process, checking in on the RNs, the techs, offering assistance wherever she can be of service. Jean started volunteering at the hospital at 62, having retired from decades of running a floral business and raising her 3 children.
Recently, Jean received the Methodist Health System’s “Honorary Lifetime V.I.P. Award” for her greatly appreciated and valuable service, which she loves doing, because--in her words--she enjoys people.
