Daniel Bliss, at 95, recently showed he’d lost none of the bravery and valor that made him an Air Force Vet of both WWII and Korea. During a family outing at a public park, he noticed a boy who was afraid to try the diving board. Although he hadn’t taken the plunge in many a year, Daniel made his way – with cane - to the diving board. He then proceeded to do a proper head-first dive to show the lad there was nothing to fear.

It is often said that leading by example is the best way to go, and certainly Daniel proved it, first by dedicated service to country, and now by service to his fellow man (well, boy). Thank you, Daniel.
