Meet An “Amazing” Who Believes In Flair And Romance

Joe Newman, at 107, renewed his driver’s license so that he could continue to drive his beloved red convertible Mercedes with his 100-year-old fiancée by his side. After all, why should flair and romance be reserved for the young? All it takes is to be young at heart, which Joe certainly is. Joe first drove a Model T Ford, so he’s been through every iteration of car history since then.

In prior years, Joe helped create programs with his late wife for developmentally disabled people. Since retiring from that career, he’s kept busy. Joe believes keeping physically and mentally active is important to a long happy healthy life.
