Meet an “Amazing” Who Moved In With Her Son To Care For Him

Ada Keating, at 98, devotes herself to a most unusual endeavor: she moved into the care facility where her son, Tom Keating, at 80, lives so she could look after him. Not that Ada thought the care facility was doing a poor job. She simply enjoys her son’s company so much that she wanted to be near him as she had during his entire life.

Never married, Tom stayed in the family home, working as a decorator and painter. Ada was a nurse for many years while she raised her daughters and Tom. Her other children--and the care facility--are delighted to have mother and son together. They make each other happy, which in turn, makes those around them happy. How wonderful.
