Rudy Boesch, when at 88, had the honor of being one of three persons inducted into the “Survivor Hall of Fame,” having been its oldest participant at 75 (“Borneo”). But Rudy’s fame started long before that.

He was one of the first of the Navy Seals, designated the "Bullfrog," having been the longest-serving SEAL still on active duty. He served two tours in Vietnam, received the Bronze Star, and retired after 45 years of service. Known also for his dedication to physical fitness training and exercise, Rudy, hosted the annual Rudy Run SEAL Challenge at Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek as of 1996 and for many years thereafter, all for the of the nonprofit Naval Special Warfare Foundation (NSWF).

Most recently, Rudy, now 91, moved to a retirement community, where he does what? Leads fellow residents in exercise programs. Why am I not surprised?
