Mary Ho, 81, started her career off with acoustic guitar, which she taught herself at age 60.
Mary Ho, at 81, performed her electric guitar solos before Singapore’s biggest audience in the country’s National Day Parade with verve and gusto. Despite her admitted nerves before the performance, it was grand. Mary started her career off with acoustic guitar, which she taught herself--at 60--from what she could find in books. But she was soon captivated by rock and blues music. One thing led to another. Mary now plays gigs professionally, has a dynamite website,and is the proud owner of 10+ electric guitars.
Known as “the Rockin’ Grandma” to her fans, all I can say is--keep rockin’!
