Meet an “Amazing" Who Swims to Great Success

A carpenter by trade, Willard retired after 51 years on the job. Rather than sit around, he decided to jump back in the pool.

Willard Lamb, at 95, swims competitively to enormous success. He holds 49 world records and 104 Canadian records across various age groups and has no plans to stop. Given that Willard only got back into competitive swimming at the sweet age of 86, his last competition having been in high school, that’s quite a list of accomplishments. A carpenter by trade, Willard retired after 51 years on the job. Rather than sit around, he decided to jump back in the pool.

Although Willard isn’t as speedy as he was when a teenager, he excels in long distances. Way to go, Willard!
