Meet An “Amazing” Who Walks His “Service” Talk

Bob Clark, at 90, has raised more money than any other individual fundraiser for the American Heart Association’s Central Iowa Heart Walk. Over the 50 years that Bob has devoted his spare time to the AHA, he’s raised over $5 million.

After serving in WWII, he received degrees both in economics and law from Drake University in Des Moines where he attended on a track scholarship. Competing in both football and track, he was the only student in the University’s history to earn a full five football letters. An avid volunteer even during his career as a busy attorney, Bob believes that service is the best possible work of all – and he certainly walks his talk.
