Meet An "Amazing" Whose Determination Paid Off

Gerald Williamson, at 80, was the proud recipient of his long-awaited Master’s degree in Management, some 50 years after he received his Bachelor’s degree. As owner/operator of an HVAC business, Gerald had tried for many years to continue his studies but kept being interrupted by emergency heating/air conditioning issues.

Finally, Gerald retired from his HVAC business and took up teaching HVAC to college students, at which point he decided to go for his Master’s once again. And now, Gerald is off and running towards his Doctorate. Gerald was, of course pleased for himself but also hopes that his willingness to return to classes at such a late date would inspire others.
