Meet an “Amazing” Whose Love of Horseback Riding Never Ends

Ginny Wegener, at 95, rides dressage with her 27 year old horse, Fjord, competing with The Century Club, in which horse and rider must be a combined 100 years old to be eligible. Ginny is just about there all by herself! Although Ginny had been around horses most of her life because of her horse-loving daughters, she only took up riding herself at 58. After all, what do you do once you’ve been a professional pilot and instructor and the kids have left the nest? Why, dressage, of course, one of the most demanding and beautiful equine sports. Ginny is a wonder to behold!
