Henry Danton, at 100, has taught ballet at Belhaven University since 2013, thus continuing an illustrious ballet career. As a teacher, he’s instructed at the Fokine School of Ballet, Ballet Arts, Carnegie Hall and Julliard. As a dancer, Henry began studying ballet at the Royal Academy in England, his native country, at 21 after his service in the Royal Military. Within a brief 18 months, Henry was performing professionally and performed for many years all over Europe, the UK, and South America before becoming an instructor.
Henry’s credo for his students is simple: one must have both a passion for the dance to become a professional dancer and to be 100% committed to it. Such it is for success in anything! Thank you, Henry.
