Moorpark Baskin-Robbins Celebrates New Ownership
Grand Reopening will Feature Turkey Ice Cream Carving

Susan and Doug Morgan have become the new owners of the Baskin-Robbins in Moorpark, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty stores. The Morgans are taking over management of the Baskin Robbins at 557 West Los Angeles Avenue.
“Having passionate and dedicated franchisees is the key component to our brand’s success,” said Ashley Dirks, Field Marketing Manager for the Moorpark area. “The Morgans are enthusiastic, engaging and in touch with their ‘ice cream side’ – all qualities that represent the essence of our brand.”
Long-time ice cream fans, Doug and Susan Morgan are taking over ownership of the ice cream specialty store in Moorpark and hope to improve the Baskin-Robbins experience for the Moorpark community.
"We felt like it would be a good community store," said Doug, "and we would be the kind of owners who would be here on a daily basis."

The event will also provide guests with their first look at the store's recent renovations as well as a chance to get to know the new owners. During the party, customers will enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, live entertainment, fun giveaways and great Baskin Robbins deals.
“My husband and I are thrilled to share our love of Baskin-Robbins with the community,” said Susan. “Customers love the great variety here and they show such great support of the brand.”
As a measure of their thanks, during the store’s Grand Re-Opening, the Morgans and Baskin-Robbins will be donating $250 to the Moorpark Packers Youth Football Program. It's a sign of their desire to be supportive of activities in the city of Moorpark.
"We do plan on getting involved with the community," said Doug.
