• Found in translation (ucla.edu) — Moorpark native Alison Jimenez turned her family's struggles with language barriers at Thousand Oaks' Westminster Free Clinic into a leadership role translating for Spanish-speaking patients. Now heading to UCLA as a first-generation college student, she's carrying forward that commitment to culturally sensitive care that began in Moorpark and grew through hands-on service at the clinic.
