Youth Volleyball Season to Begin Soon

Moorpark U.S. Youth Volleyball League signups are coming to an end. The final day to register is Sept. 1.

The league play schedule is Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 to 11 a.m. at Mammoth Highlands Park Sept. 12 to Nov. 3.

The coed league's registration is open to players of all skill levels. Every child plays, and teams are balanced into four age division, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-15.

Registration is $185 per child, and the league offers multiple child discounts, volunteer opportunities in every area. Also, high school students can earn community service hours through the High School Volunteer Program.
