Glitch Snarled Evening Commute

Was your evening commute a bit more trying than usual? Here’s what went wrong--the lights at Rengstorff and Central Expressway were on flashing red. It could not have happened at a worse time, just before 4 p.m.

Maintenance crews fixed the problem as quickly as possible, but by then the backup was terrible.

In the future, if you come across flashing red lights at an intersection, the law requires that you treat it like a four-way stop sign.
