Description: Harvesting Seeds for You, Your Neighbor and the Local Seed Library - a Silicon Valley Grows Event

Master Gardeners will show you when and how to collect your seeds at the end of the season. Threshing and winnowing are some techniques we will look at and try some hands on to prepare our seeds for the next season. Also, the best ways to keep your seeds till you are ready to plant them. Bring seeds from your garden that you would like to clean and share.

Silicon Valley Grows: One Community, one seed. A joint effort between master gardener Hillie Salo and the seed libraries at Mountain View, Campbell, Saratoga, and city of Santa Clara public libraries.
