Mountain View Runners Finish Prestigious Boston Marathon

Nearly 24,000 marathoners finished the storied Boston Marathon on Monday, including a handful of Mountain View residents.

• Gary M. Green, 49, finished in 3:07:13
• David Woods, 40, finished in 3:17:02
• Amy Adams, 41, finished in 3:23:29
• Doug Fujii, 47, finished in 3:39:24
• Kate Williamson, 42, finished in 3:46:11
• Nancy Dunaway, 56, finished in 4:00:49
• Nanci Scharfen, 56, finished in 4:29:55

The world's oldest marathon, Boston is a prestigious event that runners spend months or even years training for, just to meet the qualifying standards for the grueling 26.2-mile journey.

Monday was the 115th running of the race.
