MVEF Home Tour on Sep. 28 Benefits Schools
Join the Mountain View Educational Foundation (MVEF) for the 2014 Home Tour on Sunday, Sept. 28 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Join the Mountain View Educational Foundation (MVEF) for our 2014 Home Tour on Sunday, September 28 from 1:00-5:00. The tour showcases seven Old Mountain View homes located within easy walking distance of each other in the Franklin St. neighborhood between the library and the police station.
Come experience 120 years of living in Mountain View. With two homes built from the ground up, three extensively remodeled in period style, and two from the historic registry, the homes have a little bit of everything. See how home styles transitioned from Victorian and Queen Anne to Craftsman and Mission style in the early 1900’s. Compare a scullery kitchen to a modern kitchen with granite counter tops.
Take this opportunity to see the inside of these iconic homes you’ve been passing for years. From beautiful tile to chickens and bees, you’ll come away with ideas for your own home.
