Oakland Kings Win Nor Cal Tournament Sunday
Oakland Kings, which recently named Mountain View resident Grant Vermeer as its MVP, have qualified for the national tournament in Orlando, Florida.
On Sunday, the Oakland Kings won the 16U Division 1 of Pacific Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) National Qualifier in Folsom. A few days before, Mountain View resident Grant Vermeer the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the team's tournament in Las Vegas . The Kings went undefeated (4-0) over two days of play for AAU travel teams from Northern California. They defeated the Bay Area Bulls in the final game before the national AAU championship, which they will be competing in on July 24 to 30 in Orlando, Florida.
