Freshman and sophomore girls also dominated, capturing the team title behind top-10 finishes from several Spartans, while Mountain View's boys' squads placed competitively across multiple divisions.

Bay Area singer to play homecoming shows after breakout year (sfchronicle.com) — Mountain View fans will get two chances to see Grammy-winning R&B star Kehlani when her world tour stops at Shoreline Amphitheatre on October 3–4, with tickets starting at $40. After recovering from throat issues and sinus surgery, she's back onstage performing songs from her acclaimed fifth album and celebrating her Bay Area roots.
   

3. Google brings back Android Dev Summit with Android 18 'powerful new graphics features' tease (9to5google.com) — Google is reviving its Android Dev Summit with two full days of developer sessions at its Mountain View headquarters on October 28–29, highlighting AI, XR, and app performance. Local developers can attend keynotes, deep dives into Android 18's new graphics capabilities, and sessions on integrating apps with Gemini and Android's evolving intelligence system.
   

4.
