Public's Help Sought To ID Man Killed By Caltrain
The victim appeared to be 25 to 35 years old, but was carrying no identification.

Officials from the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man killed Friday evening on the Caltrain tracks between Mountain View and Sunnyvale, a medical examiner said Saturday.
Emergency crews responded to the collision with Train 381, an express “Baby Bullet” train carrying 59 passengers, around 6 p.m., Caltrain officials said.

Medical Examiner Patra Albrecht said the man, who appears to be between 25 and 35 years old, was not carrying any identification. Albrecht said he had a black backpack but nothing inside the backpack that could help medical examiners identify him.
“We’ve run finger prints through local systems and there haven’t been any matches,” Albrecht said.

“We’re kind of hoping somebody will file a missing person report or come forward with information.” Albrecht described the man as likely Hispanic or white with a shaved head and brown eyes.
He has no tattoos or other markings, she said.
Anyone with information about his death is urged to call the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office at (408) 793-1900, ext. 2.
