Robbery Suspect Shot This Morning By Sunnyvale Officer Dies
Police reportedly were responding to an incident at a liquor store.

A suspect died after he was shot by Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety officers this morning, a public safety captain said.
The officers responded to reports of an armed robbery in the 1100 block of Tasman Drive at 11:10 a.m., public safety Capt. Jeff Hunter said.
Initial reports indicated the robbery was at a liquor store, Hunter said. Officers responded and shot the knife-wielding suspect, who was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
