My name is Clint Blakely and I’m a product of Mountain View High School's performing arts departments, where I fell in love with music singing with the Madrigals. I hold a BA in Jazz Voice from USC's Thornton School of Music. I've played &amp; sung music around the world – Los Angeles bars &amp; clubs, Amsterdam concert halls, Rio de Janeiro churches... I love teaching lessons over Zoom! For the past 5 years, I’ve taught students all over the world whose ages range from 4 years old to 60+. My students have a wide variety of skill levels, from complete beginners to 10+ years of prior study. In my lessons, I combine technical instruction and creative exercises within a fun, encouraging atmosphere. Close to three months after it opened, Scratch Restaurant was officially welcomed into the Mountain View community and to Castro Street. At the grand opening on Wednesday, Mayor Jac Siegel, members of the Chamber of Commerce and foodies stopped by to celebrate the event—and wish the restaurant luck.
