Scratch Holds Grand Opening
The new kid on Castro, the American bistro restaurant hopes to beat the odds.
Close to three months after it opened, Scratch Restaurant was officially welcomed into the Mountain View community and to Castro Street.
At the grand opening on Wednesday, Mayor Jac Siegel, members of the Chamber of Commerce and foodies stopped by to celebrate the event—and wish the restaurant luck.
The location, 401 Castro St., has gone through rough patches, but Scratch hopes to beat the odds with its unique American bistro menu and oyster bar.
