A New York-based startup working on a way for discerning shoppers to streamline their checkout process, 72Lux is currently in Mountain View under the wing of . The three-person team is developing a single checkout for shoppers who use multiple luxury retail sites, like Bloomingdales and Macy's.

Patch met lead developer, who has been working at the one and a half-year-old company for nine months, Michelle Montgomery at 's latest . Here's what she had to say:

Patch: iPhone or Android?

Montgomery: Android - Verizon Fascinate.

Patch: Favorite mobile app?

Montgomery: Maps. I'd be lost without it, literally. I used it to get here tonight.

Patch: PC or Mac?

Montgomery: PC...[but I've actually been considering going Mac lately.

Patch: Longest time spent awake working on something for 72Lux?

Montgomery: Over 24 hours. Programming can go on for hours and hours. I just work whatever it takes to get it done.

Patch: Favorite hiking or walking location?

Montgomery: If I had time to walk! I'm lucky if I have time to walk around the block. I actually try to walk to work.

Patch: Star Trek or Star Wars?

Montgomery: Star Wars.

Patch: Favorite book?

Montgomery: Right now I kind of just read technical books.

Patch: If you could have a superhero power, what would it be?

Montgomery: I'd live forever. I guess I'd probably be a vampire then.
