One thing to keep in mind is since this is a brand-new development in a high profile project, rent will be on the upper range of the market.  The broker is looking for well capitalized businesses that have a proven track record in not only operating the business but also in things like store design.

There’s approximately 20,000 square feet of space still available.  In one of the spaces, they're looking for a nicer, full-service, sit-down restaurant.  This space has 4200 square feet.  One way to think about this is to think what type of restaurants do you have to drive out for.

Then there are four available spots where one is 12,000 square feet and the remaining three are 1500 square feet.  For these spots they're looking for non-food use.  Some of the businesses she’s considering are things like a boutique, athletic wear, an optometrist, and possibly a higher-end hair salon.

An additional consideration is they don't want to put in businesses that directly compete with each other.  The tenants that have signed a lease include Paul Martin’s American Grill, Pacific Catch, The Counter, TavernaBlu (Greek), Starbucks, Sleep Number Beds, and Fidelity Investments.
