Thursday's Death on Caltrain Tracks Near Mtn. View Appears 'Intentional'
The trains "single-tracked" after accident.

The Caltrain tracks through Mountain View reopened in both directions following a collision that killed a man on Thursday, according to Caltrain.
The southbound track reopened just before 7 p.m. and Caltrain worked to restore regular service, according to Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn.
Trains were traveling on a single northbound track through the area until about 5 p.m. and passengers experienced delays.

Southbound Train 156 struck and killed a male adult pedestrian around 4:30 p.m. just south of the Mountain View Station under the state Highway 237 overpass.
Dunn said it appears that the death was an “intentional act,” but the coroner will make the final determination.
