UPDATE On Mtn. View Officer Struck By Suspect's Car
The officer was released from the hospital, and four were arrested in the incident.

Four people were arrested outside of a strip mall in Mountain View on Wednesday night, including one who allegedly backed up a car into an officer, police said.
Around 8 p.m., officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances at the strip mall at 1040 Grant Road, Sgt. Saul Jaeger said.
Arriving officers learned the circumstances possibly involved identity theft or financial fraud in which people were attempting to purchase phones at an AT&T store, Jaeger said.
