If there's one thing about Californians that's true—they like to visit the regional, state and national parks.

So it may not come as a surprise that people in Mountain View chose , which garnered 55 percent of your vote, as their favorite sporting goods store in the city.

REI may not sell baseball bats, golf clubs or tennis rackets, but it sells pretty much everything else including bikes, canoes, kayaks, cooking supplies and of course, ice axes, the mountaineering tool that started the whole entreprise more than 70 years ago.
