4th Coronavirus Death Announced In Riverside County
As of Friday afternoon, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Riverside County is 28, which includes the four deaths

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A fourth person has died in Riverside County due to complications from coronavirus, it was announced Friday morning by health officials..
The man, who was over 70 years old, was from the Coachella Valley, although it is not immediately clear when he died, Jose Arballo, spokesman for the Riverside University Health System, told City News Service.

Riverside County Public Health Officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser has warned that the number of coronavirus cases is expected to increase countywide.
"Unfortunately, as testing expands, so will the number of positive cases," Kaiser said. "We are working diligently to ensure those who may have been exposed are taken care of, but we know COVID-19 is present in the community, and there will be more cases."

Thursday night, Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a statewide "Stay Home" order in response to the growing number of COVID-19 cases in California and the nation. Grocery stores, restaurants, medical facilities and many suppliers of essential goods and services, such as pet care, still remain open for the public.
