5 Adults, 1 Child Displaced in San Jacinto House Fire

Damage was estimated at $50,000.

Five adults and one child were displaced by a fire at their home in a San Jacinto, authorities said Monday.

The fire in the 1500 block of Western Village Drive was reported at 6 p.m. Sunday, said Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann.

“The first arriving engine company reported heavy smoke visible from the garage of a single-family home,” Hagemann said.

Nineteen firefighters put out the flames by 6:26 p.m., she said. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $50,000.
