Baby Boy Found, 1 Arrested In SoCal Amber Alert

The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert for a missing 1-year-old boy on Monday.

RIVERSIDE, CA — A search for a baby boy that triggered a statewide Amber Alert on Monday ended after the child was located and the man suspected of taking him was arrested without incident, police said.

Bradley Nicolas was snatched about 7:30 a.m. from Jurupa Valley, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. After the one-year-old child went missing, the agency said 42-year-old Julio Armando Ramirez was suspected of taking him.

The sheriff's department did not immediately provide details regarding the possible reason for the alleged kidnapping or the relationship of the suspect to the toddler, if any.

Ramirez had been spotted with Nicolas on Monday morning in the city of Riverside at Sierra Avenue near Armstrong Road, authorities said.

The Amber Alert was not issued until after 12:30 p.m., and both Bradley and Ramirez were found within two hours of the alert.
