ATF Agents Search Accused YouTube Shooter's Menifee Home
Meanwhile, a family member told reporters at the house that they'd told police about Nasim Aghdam's anger towards YouTube.
MENIFEE, CA — The house in Menifee where the accused YouTube gunwoman Nasim Najafi Aghdam once lived with her family became the site of a media and law enforcement frenzy on Tuesday, a day after she allegedly shot three other people and then herself after driving north to San Bruno. And from that house, a female relative who wished not to be identified said that her family told police that for a year Aghdam was angry at the company for changing their monetization methods on her videos.
When asked if police said they'd keep an eye on Aghdam, the woman said yes.
"Yeah, but they didn't," she said.

She and other relatives said they had no idea that Aghdam had a gun. The female relative questioned how she got the weapon, a 9mm Smith & Wesson — which San Bruno police said on Wednesday was registered in the accused shooter's name. Police said Aghdam practiced with that weapon at a San Bruno-area gun range Tuesday morning before carrying out the midday shooting.
"How come for a driver's license you need more?!" she shouted before going inside to the house to join other family members and ATF agents.

The modern California tract home sits just across Scott Road from Murrieta. It was in this home that Aghdam apparently lived for some time with family members, who still reside at the address. Patch has reached out to sheriff's officials for information on any possible service calls to the location.
Meanwhile, Mountain View police issued a statement confirming that Aghdam's family had contacted the department to say she was upset at YouTube.
"Aghdam's father stated that she may have been in the area because of this," according to the department. "He did not seemed concerned that she was in the area, and wanted to simply let us know that may have been a reason for her move up here. Once again, at no point did her father or brother mention anything about potential acts of violence or a possibility of Aghdam lashing out as a result of her issues with her videos. They remained calm throughout this second phone call."
Aghdam had been reported missing by her family on Monday.
Her father, Ismail Aghdam, told reporters he warned police she might go to YouTube because of her hatred for the company. He said police called the family in Menifee at 2 a.m. Tuesday to say she had been found sleeping in her car. At that point, police said the accused shooter was removed from the state's missing person database.
Ismail Aghdam said his daughter was "angry" at YouTube because she felt the company was censoring her videos and stopped paying her for her work.
As ATF agents were spotted heading in and out of Ismail Aghdam's home on Wednesday, they indicated to reporters that they may host a press conference with more information. We'll be sure to keep you updated if and when they do.
