Here's what we know about Nasim Aghdam, identified as the shooter at YouTube headquarters.
SAN BRUNO, CA — On a sunny and warm afternoon in California, a woman walked into the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno with a gun. After shooting three people, Nasim Aghdam turned the weapon on herself and pulled the trigger one final time, according to police.
A massive SWAT scene descended on the tech-based community located just south of San Francisco.
We now know what happened after the shooting: Employees evacuated or were escorted out by police; law enforcement officials searched and cleared the building; hordes of news reporters and concerned citizens swarmed to the scene to learn more.

"At this point in the investigation, it is believed the suspect was upset with policies and practices of YouTube," San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini said at a press conference Wednesday morning. "This appears to be the motive for this incident."
Here are five things to know about Nasim Aghdam:
1) She once had a vibrant YouTube channel and said the company filtered her out. She complained in one of her more recent videos, which has since been removed by YouTube, that her "new videos hardly get any views" and her "old videos used to get many views." On what appears to be her own website, several complaints were posted about the topic including a large piece of text that reads, "Youtube filtered my channels to keep them from getting views!"

2) She drove from Southern California to Northern California to carry out the shooting, according to KRON4 News. ABC7 reported that though she had addresses in San Diego and Riverside County, she most recently lived with her family in Menifee.
3) Her family reported her missing, and Bay Area police said they found her sleeping in her car Tuesday morning. After two days with no answer from his daughter, Ismail Aghdam told the Mercury News that his family contacted police for help. Around 2 a.m. the day of the shooting, Mountain View police called to let them know she'd been found. San Bruno police said Aghdam was removed from the state's missing person's database at that time.
4) She posted about a variety of topics on her website, including veganism, exercise and the health risks of anal sex. Aghdam shared a photo of a nail in her tire and said that her car was "attacked by anti-vegan animal business supporting criminals trying to harm/kill" her "because of animal rights awakening stickers."

5) Her social media accounts have been removed from public view. Links to Aghdam's Instagram, Facebook and YouTube accounts were all broken by Tuesday night. It's not clear if she took some of the accounts down herself or if the agencies did. Facebook and Instagram noted that the pages had no available content to view, while YouTube wrote, "This account has been terminated due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's policy against spam, deceptive practices and misleading content or other Terms of Service violations."
